Very clever idea!

Here's a great way to keep kindling off the ground, easily accessible and neatly stacked through the fall for those cool evenings around the fire with friends and family...

Place a 2x4 in a cinderblock (both sides as pictured) and stack kindling tinder neatly.

Crescent Pizza Ring


Crescent Pizza Ring

2 packages (8 count) pillsbury crescent rolls
Toppings (however much you like):
Pizza sauce
Turkey pepperoni
Black olives
Mozzarella cheese
Feta goat cheese
Melted butter
Garlic powder
Dried basil
Grated Parmesan

Preheat oven to 375 F... Open crescent packages and cut each package into 4 rectangles (8 total). On a cookie sheet... Lay out the first 4, corner to corner (shape of a "+" sign).... Should be a 3"-4" space in the centre. Take the next 4 pieces and do the same (but on the diagonal). Spoon pizza sauce on the dough (close to the centre) and spread evenly around inner part of ring. Top with cheeses, olives and pepperoni. Take outer edge of each crescent roll piece, roll over the top and fold under the inner edge to form the ring. Cut along the crescent roll lines on top to expose some of the toppings. Brush on melted butter. Sprinkle some garlic powder, basil and Parmesan on top and bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling... Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 1/2 cups water
1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes with mild green chiles, undrained
1 (11-oz.) can Whole Kernel Corn, Red and Green Peppers, drained
1 (4.4-oz.) envelope Spanish rice mix
6 oz. (1 1/2 cups) shredded Mexican cheese blend

Instructions

Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.

Add water, tomatoes, corn and rice mix; mix well. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes or until rice is tender.

Stir in 1 cup of the cheese until melted. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese
